My problem is that I need my heated liner once temps get below 60°, lol. It's a huge problem trying to find a jacket that fits tight and protects well that you can wear in all seasons. I am convinced I would have fared much better if I had either just left the liner in place and sweated a lot or worn my tight-fitting A-Stars race jacket (too tight for my heated liner) that has the outer armor built onto the shoulder. A recent crash left me with some shiny new hardware inside my shoulder, mostly due to the fact that my "Level 2" armor wasn't being held in place because I removed the heated liner out of the jacket (RS Taichi) due to the afternoon temps getting warm - lesson learned the hard way. Don't get me wrong, I like Olympia's quality and functionality, but body armor is useless unless it is held firmly in place. The issue is the fit - unless you are using all the layers and everything is fitting tight, the armor won't be very effective if/when you crash. I used to have several Olympia garments but stray away from them now.

Hope never to dummy test it, but so far I think that it will work for riding dirt roads and two tracks in Michigan. This one is Black/Neon Yellow, and very visible. Quality looks good and it has a lot of nice features. I haven’t ridden with it yet, but walking around outside at 40 F, it is not warm. Put an additional jacket on, too much too tight.

Feeling a little bulky but not bad, definitely ride-able. So I put on long johns, jeans and sweat shirt, oh and a knee brace. I can wear suit over jeans & long sleeve shirt comfortably. I have some American belly, but not a dun lap. I am glad I did, an XL would be way too small. A regular 2XL usually fits like a 32 gallon garbage bag.īased on other tall people’s comments elsewhere, I ordered the suit in 2XL. I ordered an Olympia Odyssey One Piece Suit from Revzilla on Monday evening and it arrived today (Thursday).Ĭlothing: Shirt 18-19 neck 37-38 sleeve, Pants: 38” waist, 34” inseam.Īn XL regular jacket fits my body but sleeves are too short, so have to get XLT.
